"Expectation is the root of all heartache." by William Shakespeare
When your expectations aren't met you invariably are disappointed, sad, angry, upset, etc. Does that mean that you shouldn't have expectations? Not at all. As long as expectations are mutual, things can be worked out. Expectations that are mute and produced in you by your standards are the ones that can cause heartache. They are unfulfilled personal needs that you want others to fill for you.
