Sleep

Getting proper rest is vital for all self-help work.  Are you getting enough sleep?  Do you know what your ideal daily rest time is?  How much sleeping time do you need to function at your best?

Take some time over the next week to track your sleeping habits:
1. Record how many hours you sleep each night and during the day (if you nap)
2. At the end of the day evaluate how your day went and how much you believe the amount of sleep contributed to your day.
3. At the end of the week look at your results and start getting a feel for how many hours are ideal for you.

Having trouble sleeping?  Everybody has times where you can't fall asleep (again).  It can be quite frustrating at times.  Nevertheless, start viewing this time as a gift.  It is free time you can use to meditate, pray, center, work on breathing exercises, focus on gratitude!  Give it a try.  It has a very calming effect and is conducive to helping you get back to sleep.  :)
