I was listening to a fiction book ("Shabanu - Daughter Of The Wind" by Suzanne Fisher Staples) today where a wise woman was telling her niece: "As long as you have you, you have choices!". It caught my attention as a very powerful and empowering statement.
It is only when you decide to give yourself away that you loose the power to choose.
