When the going gets tough...

When the going gets tough, what do you do?  Everyone has days where you doubt yourself, doubt what you are doing, what you are feeling, where you are heading.  When this happens and you feel overwhelmed, what do you do?

Here are some suggestions:

1. Realize you are overwhelmed.  Stop and breathe.
2. Refocus.  Take 'inventory' of all you have accomplished in the last week or month.  Get a feel for all the steps you have taken.  Write them down - this is important!  The act of writing gives the thoughts physical form, which helps you own it.
3. Revisit what your goal and/or vision is.  Why are you doing this?  Are you on track?  Is the goal/vision still valid for you?  Does it still resonate with you in your gut?  Is it all still valid for you or do you need to revisit it?  Odds are that if your vision is aligned with your life purpose it will still be right for you.  If not then redefine and redesign it to align with your life purpose.
4. If you are on track, the final step is to trust.  Trust that you are doing the right thing, trust that you can do it, trust that you are on the right path, and finally trust in God/the Universe/the Greater Consciousness/etc.
