Another Side Of Anger

If you don't have or take enough time to grieve or deal with energy draining emotions, you will get angry and snap at others.  There is only so much you can take on at one time, and anger, in this case, is a protective mechanism.  What you are doing is saying: "Stay away from me!  I can't handle any more!".

Though it may not at all be your normal way of being, it does serve a purpose. The snapping is out of your control - it is an instinctual, protective mechanism. But you can acknowledge you are at your limit right after it happens both to yourself and the recipient of your outburst and then make appropriate adjustments.  You are only human after all and everyone experiences this state of being once in a while.  :)
