Today my heart broke into a million pieces when I had to let my beloved dog, Rudy, go. All I can do is let the pain wash over me in waves and trust he is in peace. There are moments when I can feel his presence and feel peaceful. Hopefully, in time, I will get used to the absence of his physical presence.
I have been blessed to have received such deep, unconditional love, loyalty, and devotion. Thank you Rudy for having been in my life on this plane and continuing to be there in another. We'll be together again someday. I love you.
